Description of Vintage Runner Rug "Glaoui "

Bring bold character and rich heritage into your space with this striking vintage Boucherouite runner. Handwoven by Amazigh artisans in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, it features an eye-catching palette of coral red, burgundy, turquoise, blue, brown and white, each hue woven from recycled cotton, and cloth remnants.

This one-of-a-kind “rag rug” showcases the signature thick, shaggy pile that made Boucherouite rugs a bohemian favorite in the 1960s. Beyond its visual appeal, the rug is a testament to sustainable craftsmanship, woven using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations.

Durable, soulful, and truly unique, it’s more than a rug, it’s a piece of living history.

Crafted using generations-old techniques, each Berberlin rug is made not only to tell a story, but to endure, bringing beauty, resilience, and soul to any space.
