Maryam Keyhani: I got to know Maryam through social networks before we met in real life. However, real isn't really accurate, because Maryam has created her own universe that puts a smile on my face and won't let me go. 

Maryam is an artist, painter, hat maker and creator of everything that is beautiful and catapults you into another world. I think of the stories of the surrealists that I learned about in my own art studies, and the bohemians and the wild, sweet life. I am enchanted by the way Maryam presents a complete work of art. A performance that makes you forget everyday life for a moment.

The artist, who was born in Iran and grew up in Toronto, is known for her unusual hats and wide robes, which are so different from the Berlin street look and therefore fit here even better. If you live in Berlin or know Berlin, you know what I mean and it's even nicer that we were able to create a bit of her fantastic world for you together with Maryam.

Maryam designed 3 different carpets for us, which we were able to make by hand from pure sheep's wool in the Beniourain style with our family businesses in Morocco.

Maryam faces the desperately difficult world with love and creativity. And in my opinion it is exactly what we all need. Love, creativity, art, colors and soft carpets.
