Personal data collected by us will be used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of the offer. We reserve the right to investigate information if there is reasonable suspicion of illegal activities due to concrete indications.
Processing of personal data
We shall collect and process the data input by you in the course of your purchase for the purpose of processing the contract and performing in accordance with same. The collected data consists of your name, address, e-mail-address and your telephone and your company information that you specify. We shall process this data for the performance of the contract, shipping of the merchandise, invoicing and recording payments.
This data remains stored by us until all claims arising from the order are fully fulfilled and until the applicable commercial and tax law retention periods have expired.
To the extent you use the services of PayPal or Wirecard in order to pay for your purchase, the data protection provisions established by each payment service shall apply to the payment process.

If you create an user account we store the information you enter as part of the sign-up process. This includes in particular your name, your address, your E-mail address and your telephone and / or fax number and the company data you provide. We use this information solely to facilitate the use of our websites and for future proper contract management, in particular to post your content, communication with users, for billing and for booking of your payment.
You will be given the opportunity to cancel your consent to store and use your data at any time without stating any reasons effective for the future.
If you would like to receive our newsletter we need your E-mail address to which the newsletter should be sent. By ordering the newsletter you are accepting the storage of your E-mail address on our computers. You can revoke your consent for the storage of the data, the E-mail address as well as their use for the delivery of the newsletter at any time without stating any reasons effective for future newsletters.
When we are contacted by you (for example via contact form or E-mail) we may store your information for the purpose of processing your request and to respond to you in case of follow-up questions.
Integration of services and third party content
It can happen that content from other websites is embedded within this online offer, such as Vimeo videos or graphics. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party") perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is necessary for the presentation of that content. We strive to only use content of such providers that are using the IP address for the purpose of the delivery of content. However, please note that we as the provider are not notified if third-party stores the IP address for example for statistical purposes. Forasmuch as we are aware of it we will inform the user about it.

When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. Facebook directly transfers the plugin content to your browser which embeds the latter into the website. Please note that Berberlin is not notified of the content of the data transmitted or of the use thereof by Facebook. We inform you according to our state of knowledge: The embedded plugins provide Facebook with the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Facebook, your visit can be assigned to your Facebook account. According to Facebook IP anonymization to store data is active for Germany.
It is also possible to block Facebook social Plugins by using add-ons for your browser .
Berberlin uses the “Pin It” button of the social media network “Pinterest”, which is operated by the Pinterest, Inc., 808 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (hereinafter “Pinterest”). By including the “Pin it” button Pinterest receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged on Pinterest, Pinterest can additionally assign your visit to your Pinterest account.
Berberlin uses plugins and API-interfaces of the social network Instagram, which is offered by and transmits data to Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The Instagram plugin can be identified by the “Instagram button” on Berberlin.com. If you are logged into Instagram and you interact by clicking the “Instagram button” Berberlin content will be shared on your Instagram account and your visit can be assigned to your Instagram account. Berberlin is not notified of the content of the data transmitted or of the use thereof by Instagram.
