This gorgeous vintage Boucherouite runner rug features a colourful geometric diamond design which is made up of small, coloured squares in shades of blue, purple, orange, turquoise and brown. The diamond pattern is bordered in either navy and white or black and white, giving this rug a wonderful graphic look.
Made of recycled cloth, cotton and wool remnants, this unique and richly coloured Boucherouite Runner rug, typically known as a "Rag Rug", was designed and handmade by Amazigh weavers in the Atlas Mountains. The Boucherouite rug has a beautifully thick and heavy shag pile giving it its popular 60's bohemian aesthetic.
Each Berberlin rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
