Description of Vintage Kelim Rug "Makoud"

This gorgeous vintage Kelim rug comes from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Featuring a wonderful, modern design and gorgeous array of colours including apricot, lavender and black. This rug was handmade from cotton and other textile remnants, so although it is flat-woven, it still has a wonderful texture. It is also quite thick and heavy, making it the perfect rug to go underneath a table or desk, or to build a lego city on. This vintage Kelim rug will make a wonderful and unique addition to any interior.

Each Kelim rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
