We’re delighted to introduce this vibrant Azilal rug, hand-woven from soft, creamy wool and brought to life with a design in soft, colourful cotton. Its playful mix of lines, dots and geometric motifs creates an artful sense of movement, while the plush texture lends warmth and depth. Finished with a cotton fringe and colourful details, this piece adds character, craftsmanship, and a contemporary flair to any space.
Skillfully woven by hand in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, Azilal rugs are made from locally sourced wool and created with traditional weaving techniques. Known for their lively, expressive patterns, these pieces often feature colourful cotton or naturally dyed fibres, giving each rug its own unique artistic character. A hallmark of the Azilal is the extra weft thread added between each row of knots, which lends the rug its airy, lightweight feel.
Each Berberlin rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
