We’re pleased to present this striking Azilal rug, meticulously handwoven from soft, creamy wool and accented with gentle, colourful cotton. The playful arrangement of lines and colourful forms creates a dynamic, artistic flow, while the plush pile adds inviting warmth and dimension. Finished with cotton tassels and vibrant detailing, this rug brings personality, artisanal quality, and a modern edge to any interior.

Our Moroccan carpets are hand-knotted using local sheep's wool in the Atlas mountains. The construction of the Azilal rug starts with raw sheep wool mixed with some colourful cotton or dyed wool to produce an interesting and abstract design. A feature of the Azilal is the extra woven row between the knots, resulting in a less dense and more aerated rug. 

Each Berberlin rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.

Our wool is locally sourced and untreated, making it a wonderfully sustainable choice.
