Azilal Rug “Ladda”

Our Moroccan carpets are hand-knotted using local sheep's wool in the Atlas mountains. The construction of the Azilal rug starts with raw sheep wool mixed with some colourful cotton or dyed wool to produce an interesting and abstract design. A feature of the Azilal is the extra woven row between the knots, resulting in a less dense and more aerated rug.
This beautiful one-of-a-kind Azilal features a colourful design of abstract symbols and shapes with a bold blue and yellow border. In an array of colours including egg yolk yellow, blue, pink and black on a lovely cream wool background and finished with white cotton tassels, this rug will make a wonderful addition to your home.
Each Berber rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been past down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
