We’re delighted to introduce this beautiful Azilal rug, carefully handwoven from soft, creamy wool and enriched with colourful cotton accents. Vertical strands of geometric motifs run through the design, creating a lively sense of movement, while the plush pile adds warmth and depth. Finished with cotton tassels and vibrant details, this rug offers artisanal character with a contemporary feel.

Our Moroccan carpets are hand-knotted using local sheep's wool in the Atlas mountains. The construction of the Azilal rug starts with raw sheep wool mixed with some colourful cotton or dyed wool to produce an interesting and abstract design. A feature of the Azilal is the extra woven row between the knots, resulting in a less dense and more aerated rug. 

Each Berberlin rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.

All our Rugs have been washed, brushed and vacuumed.

Our wool is locally sourced and untreated, making it a wonderfully sustainable choice.
