This gorgeous Azilal features a wonderful design in lilac, pink, mustard and green. With its colourful dots, lines and symbols on a fluffy cream wool background, this rug will make a perfect addition to any kid's room or interior. The rug is made of locally sourced 100% sheep's wool and is finished with white cotton tassels.
Our Moroccan carpets are hand-knotted using local sheep's wool in the Atlas mountains. The construction of the Azilal rug starts with raw sheep wool mixed with some colourful cotton or dyed wool to produce an interesting and abstract design. A feature of the Azilal is the extra woven row between the knots, resulting in a less dense and more aerated rug.
Each Berber rug has been sustainably made with raw materials to create durability to be used for many years, using the same traditional techniques that have been past down from generation to generation throughout antiquity.
